Data we use
We process account, contact, order, payment status, security, support and domain-transfer information needed to provide DNOM services. Payment credentials remain with the payment provider.
Why we use it
We use data to perform contracts, protect accounts, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, respond to support requests and—with consent—understand marketplace performance.
Email updates
If you choose to sign up for DNOM marketing emails, we send your email address to Mailchimp to request a confirmation. New subscriptions begin after you confirm. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. We do not automatically subscribe customers when they create an account or make a purchase. Signup attempts use keyed hashes of your address and source IP to limit abuse; older rate-limit records are periodically cleared.
Cookies
Essential cookies support authentication, basket and checkout. Optional analytics storage is enabled only when selected in the consent control.
Website analytics
When you allow analytics, DNOM stores a random browser identifier and a visit-session identifier in your browser. The server stores keyed hashes of those identifiers to measure distinct browsers, sessions, public page categories and recent activity. We exclude private account and checkout pages, signed-in operators and detected bots, and honour browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We do not store plain IP addresses, full referrer URLs, query strings or personal account details in website traffic records. You can change your choice through Cookie preferences in the footer; choosing essential cookies stops website tracking and removes its browser identifiers. Traffic records are retained for up to 366 days; the live activity table retains up to one day.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with necessary infrastructure, payment, email, registrar and compliance providers. We retain records for contractual, security, tax and legal periods, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable by using DNOM support. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
